Mr. Bagha to oversee office operations, strengthen industry relationships, drive business development and foster a culture of mentorship and collaboration

PITTSBURGH, May 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael Baker International, a global leader in engineering, consulting and advisory services, today announced that the firm has promoted Mohamed Bagha, P.E., PMP, CFM, ENV SP, to Office Executive – Houston. In this role, Mr. Bagha will lead the firm's Houston, Texas, office, managing its daily operations, enhancing client and industry engagement and spearheading new business development. He will also focus on broadening the office's service offerings, elevating project execution and nurturing a culture of mentorship, continuous learning and collaboration. Additionally, he will promote the firm's commitment to working as One Michael Baker, collaborating across practices and regional geographies to win new work, cross-sell capabilities and expand service offerings for clients.

Mr. Bagha is an expert in water resources engineering, including advanced hydrology and 1D, 2D and unsteady hydraulic model development for stormwater management and watershed planning. He joined Michael Baker in 2005 and most recently served as Southern Regional Practice Lead – Water. In this role, he oversaw a diverse array of water resources projects and pursuits for federal, state and municipal clients.

Mr. Bagha earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology in Nagpur, India, and a Master of Engineering degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He served for four years on the Texas Floodplain Management Association (TFMA) Board of Directors for Region 8, which includes 15 counties along the Gulf Coast and Harris County, Texas.
