SEATTLE, May 29, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Omnidian, the leading provider of comprehensive protection and performance plans for residential and commercial solar and energy-storage assets, today announced the appointment of Evan Fein as Chief Financial Officer. Fein brings a strong blend of operational excellence and strategic leadership in his more than 25 years of experience scaling high-growth technology companies from early stage through IPO and strategic exit.

Fein joins Omnidian after serving as CFO of TextNow, where he helped steer the company through a period of rapid revenue expansion and profit growth. Previously, he was CFO at Chef Software, leading the company through its 2020 acquisition by Progress Software, and at Impinj, where he guided the RFID pioneer to its 2016 Nasdaq IPO.

"Omnidian is entering a new phase of global expansion following our recent $87 million Series C raise," said Mark Liffmann, Co-Founder and CEO of Omnidian. "Evan's track record of building resilient finance organizations, navigating capital markets and M&A, and driving operational excellence and growth strategy will be instrumental as we scale our platform and deepen our commitment to accelerating the clean-energy transition."

As CFO, Fein will oversee Omnidian's finance, accounting, investor relations, and corporate development functions–with close support from Omnidian's longtime VP of Finance Jordan Heeger–while partnering with the entire executive team to drive continued organic growth and advise on strategic acquisitions.

"Omnidian has quickly become the gold standard for performance assurance in solar and storage," said Evan Fein. "I'm excited to join a mission-driven team that is using technology and world-class service to unlock dependable returns for renewable energy investors while advancing a decarbonized future."

Fein is also the founding chair of the Seattle Tech CFO community and global chair of The F Suite, a national network of senior finance executives. He holds an MBA and a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Washington.

This hire builds on the rapidly expanding expertise within the Executive Leadership Team at Omnidian, highlighted by the recent hire of Cathy Hardin, the first Chief Revenue Officer in Omnidian's history. Cathy brings immense experience in customer satisfaction and client lifecycle management, paired with leading go-to-market experience across diverse verticals and blue-chip service-focused companies like Angi, HomeAdvisor, and Instawork.
