NEW YORK, Sept. 26, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Rosa Mexicano, the celebrated Mexican dining destination known for its bold flavors, lively atmosphere, and signature tableside guacamole, today officially opens its all-new Lincoln Center location at 44 W 63rd Street. The restaurant is housed on the mezzanine of the iconic Empire Hotel, just steps from its original home of more than 25 years.
The relocation to the Empire Hotel marks an important moment for Rosa Mexicano, which first opened in New York City in 1984 and has been part of the Lincoln Center neighborhood for more than two decades. Its proximity to the city's cultural institutions has made it a longtime favorite for pre- and post-show dining, a tradition that will continue in the new space. Two expansive bars anchor the space, providing more room to gather and celebrate with friends and family. The space will also include the brand's iconic iridescent two story, blue-tile water wall, a dramatic feature inspired by the cliff divers of Acapulco. The interiors reimagine Rosa Mexicano's legacy for a new era, blending its rich heritage with a design influenced by the coastal beauty of Tulum. Anchoring the main dining room is a floor to ceiling bottle display wall featuring over 350 bottles of Flecha Azul tequila. The lush greenery, natural textures, authentic Spanish tile, handwoven accents, and warm earthy tones combined with carved wood, woven light fixtures, and stone details aim to create a breezy yet elevated atmosphere.
In addition to its main dining spaces, the restaurant features multiple private dining spaces designed for intimate gatherings, celebrations, and corporate events. Accommodating groups from 12 to over 400, the restaurant offers warm and versatile settings, making it ideal for everything from rehearsals and milestone birthdays to banquets and business dinners.
The menu at the new location will remain familiar, featuring Rosa Mexicano's beloved classics, including its award-winning Pomegranate Margarita and freshly prepared tableside guacamole. Guests will also enjoy signature dishes that have defined the brand's culinary identity over the years, from sizzling Molcajete Fajitas presented on cast-iron skillets, to hand-rolled enchiladas and tacos filled with premium ingredients. Seasonal specials and chef-driven menu additions will continue to showcase the brand's commitment to authenticity and culinary creativity.
Complementing the food menu is a robust beverage program showcasing Rosa Mexicano's famed margaritas, craft mezcal cocktails, tequila flights, and Mexican and Latin American beers and wines.
