Signature Wealth Group Hosts "Unite for Impact" Conference in Asheville, One Year After Hurricane Helene

ASHEVILLE, N.C., Sept. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Signature Wealth Group brought together 90 team members from across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Kentucky for its annual UNITE conference, held this year at The Restoration Hotel in Asheville, NC.

The theme, "Unite for Impact," reflected SWG's philanthropic initiative, Signature Cares, and honored Asheville's resilience following the devastation of Hurricane Helene in September 2024. The storm left lasting effects on Western North Carolina, but the city's spirit of recovery and collaboration made it the perfect setting for this year's gathering.

The location carried special significance for Sherry Holley, Senior Wealth Advisor and President of Gratz Park Private Wealth, an independent practice affiliated with SWG. In early 2024, she expanded her offices into Asheville through the acquisition of Webb Investment Services. The conference doubled as both a celebration of her new practice's roots in the region and a commitment to supporting Asheville's ongoing recovery.

A Conference with Purpose

Unlike traditional conference agendas filled with full-day sessions, UNITE 2025 intentionally closed the conference room and focused on community impact.

• RiverLink Partnership: On Thursday, teams joined RiverLink, a local nonprofit dedicated to restoring and protecting the French Broad River, for hands-on volunteer outings. Together, they cleared invasive vegetation around critical river habitats.
  
  
• Economic Impact: Attendees stayed at The Restoration Hotel and spent time exploring the River Arts District and downtown, shopping with local artists and boutiques. Meals and gatherings highlighted Asheville-owned venues, including a welcome reception at The Draftsman, dinner at The Market Place, and lunch at Hi-Wire Brewing, catered by Black Bear BBQ.
  
  
• Local Collaboration: SWG sourced all event collateral from Asheville businesses. Attendees received custom duffel bags filled with Unite for Impact swag (camping mugs, trucker hats, and shirts) printed by Asheville Printing Company, plus local flavors from Gourmet Chip Company and Devil's Foot Brewery. Flourish Flower Farm and ZimZoom Photo Booth added local flair and fun to evening events.

The event's branding was also uniquely tied to the city's history. A vintage 1951 Asheville postcard, discovered on eBay, inspired the conference logo and swag, and was recreated for attendees as a keepsake.
