MIAMI and TURKU, Finland, Sept. 23, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Sauvegarder Investment Management ("SIM IP"), a global leader in intellectual property-based investment and monetization, is pleased to announce the successful completion of its acquisition of over 200 video coding patent assets from Gurulogic Microsystems Oy ("Gurulogic"), a Finnish technology firm renowned for its pioneering video, security, and data technology innovations.
This acquisition represents SIM IP's continued commitment to expanding its robust and diversified IP portfolio, following its initial purchase of Gurulogic's breakthrough video patent assets earlier this year. The newly acquired patents comprise core technologies with wide-reaching applications across video conferencing and streaming and advanced coding and compression solutions of video, image, and other data, further strengthening SIM IP's footprint in both legacy and emerging digital sectors.
