The Fair Center Deepens Its Bench as TNG Consulting Marks 25 Years
Firm Celebrates its 25th Anniversary; Leadership Reflects on its Evolution, Accomplishments, and Need to Look Forward.
KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Sept. 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- As TNG Consulting, LLC (TNG) celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2025, TNG's Management Committee ensures that the firm anticipates the needs of the future by announcing the appointment of founder Brett A. Sokolow, J.D., as Chief Resolution Officer of The FAIR Center, and the formalization of The FAIR Center as a division of TNG Consulting, LLC.
Over its 25 years, TNG has reinvented itself many times to meet the expanding needs of the ever-changing field of education risk management. While TNG originally focused on campus safety and sexual violence prevention for colleges and universities, TNG expanded over time to address the full panoply of risk management needs of its clients. As discrimination compliance became a priority for the government, TNG founded ATIXA, the Association of Title IX Administrators. As school shootings and violence became commonplace, TNG met additional school needs by forming NABITA, the National Association for Behavioral Intervention and Threat Assessment. TNG expanded its scope again when it introduced consulting services to encompass K-12 consulting needs.
As TNG grew, the role of its founder, Brett Sokolow, evolved as well. He served as President and CEO and also held the role of Executive Director for each of the associations. When the associations needed professional Executive Directors, Sokolow transitioned to the role as President of each. Sokolow then became Board Chair of NABITA, while keeping his President role and title with ATIXA. Then, to make room for diverse voices and leadership perspectives, Sokolow moved to the Board Chair of ATIXA. Over the years, both NABITA and ATIXA have benefited from a number of capable leaders who have left their stamps on the associations.
In 2019, Sokolow stepped out of the role of TNG CEO to become Board Chair, and in 2022, TNG formed a Management Committee to oversee its strategic operations and growth plans. That structure remains today, with firm governance capably overseen by Sokolow as Board Chair, Max BrownGold, MBA, as Chief Business/Technology Officer, Michelle Isssadore, M.Ed., CAE, as Chief Associations/Operating Officer, Daniel C. Swinton, J.D., Ed.D., as Chief Consulting Officer, and W. Scott Lewis, J.D., as Managing Partner and Chair of the NABITA Advisor Board. In 2024, TNG formalized its outsourced investigations and hearings into a new service called The FAIR Center.
As with a number of previous TNG initiatives, The FAIR Center grew quickly. Today, it serves hundreds of schools and colleges, offering full external, objective resolution of all types of discrimination complaints. From intake to investigation, hearings, advising, informal resolutions, and appeals, TNG has become the go-to trusted resource for hundreds and hundreds of client cases each year. TNG brings justice and fairness to each case, treating each complaint with the equal dignity it deserves.
TNG is embracing the opportunity to scale The FAIR Center to meet intensifying demand. TNG projects that The FAIR Center will be managing a caseload of 3,000 discrimination complaints annually by 2028. To ensure that The FAIR Center can meet this demand, TNG is expanding its robust management infrastructure. TNG's executives and staff have ably guided The FAIR Center through its first few years, and TNG is dedicating additional executive management layers to ensure that The FAIR Center continues to be the most timely, effective, and accurate resolution resource available to the field.
To lead The FAIR Center to fulfill its mission of ensuring just outcomes for every discrimination complaint, Sokolow will again take on a new role to provide stewardship, as he has with each successful TNG initiative over the last 25 years. Effective immediately, Sokolow will serve as the Chief Resolution Officer of The FAIR Center in addition to retaining his Board Chair roles with TNG Consulting and ATIXA. The FAIR Center employs more than 30 investigators, resolution officers, and senior resolution officers.
TNG Consulting is grateful for the privilege of being a trusted partner to its thousands of loyal clients and members who share its mission and are champions of building safer schools and colleges.
