Grady S. Mills is a retired United States Army Colonel celebrating 30 years of service to his country. He is proud to have served in nineteen distinct roles over the course of his career, including battalion commander and group commander posts. He began his career as a signal officer, a career track he would remain in for the next nine years before transitioning into multifunctional logistics. Mills earned a reputation for leadership excellence in a broad range of situations, with stints at Army Personnel Command, Battalion Command, Pentagon J4 staff and as Commander of the 64th Corps Support Group in Texas for two years.

Mr. Mills' final military post was as Commandant of the Army Logistics Management College at Ft Lee, Virginia. After leaving the military, he spent six years with L3 Communications and Military Professional Resources Inc.

Following his retirement, Mr. Mills committed himself to community service and volunteers as an assistant boxing coach for the YMCA's Rock Steady Boxing program for Parkinson's patients and as a court-appointed special advocate (CASA) for abused children in Central Virginia. He has served as a volunteer in several communities for Samaritans Purse. He is also a member of Gideons International, currently serving as Virginia's central region director.

Mr. Mills attributes his success to the blessings of God through Christ, his wife of 41 years, Mary Jo and daily application of his personal five-step leadership program, enabling his ability to balance his duties and personal development. He looks forward to continuing his work in the community and exploring opportunities for investments to provide for his children and grandchildren in the future.
