PHOENIX, June 26, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Universal Technical Institute (UTI), the transportation, skilled trades, electrical, and energy education division of Universal Technical Institute, Inc., is enrolling now for its HVACR program at two additional campuses –  UTI-Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) and UTI-Miramar (Fla.). These two programs are part of the division's eight planned 2025 program launches.

The nine-month HVACR program is currently accepting enrollments at UTI campuses located in Arizona, California, Florida, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Texas. The program covers various topics, including troubleshooting, service and installation for heating and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial HVACR settings. The program also covers refrigeration systems used in light commercial applications.

"We're focused on expanding programs in fields where industry demand is strong and career opportunities are available," said UTI Division President Tracy Lorenz. "With the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projecting significantly faster-than-average growth in HVACR jobs over the next eight years, it's the right time to grow our HVACR training programs and prepare students for essential roles that keep homes and businesses running reliably."

Along with new campuses announced in Atlanta and San Antonio, opening in 2026, pending all regulatory approvals, the HVACR program is an element of Universal Technical Institute, Inc.'s North Star Strategy. The several-year strategy is focused on growth, diversification, and optimization to help meet the need for trained workers across in-demand fields.
