Crucial Generational Discussions, AI Workshop, and more at CPAmerica's Leading Partners Retreat and Firm Management Roundtable in Napa, Calif.
GAINESVILLE, Fla., Sept. 30, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- CPAmerica's premier events, the annual Leading Partners Retreat (LPR) and Firm Management Roundtable (FMR) took place September 16-19, 2025, at The Meritage Resort & Spa in Napa, California. These co-located meetings are two of more than 17 signature events CPAmerica holds throughout the year. With nearly 300 people in attendance, the 2025 meetings were a resounding success.
Both meetings were specifically curated for individuals leading independent accounting firms and were packed with relevant topics and industry leading speakers. Generational consultant, Kristin Scroggin, spoke about attracting and retaining the next greatest generation of talent amid the "epic reshuffle." Ryan Jenkins, WSJ Bestselling Leadership Author, spoke on the challenges and opportunities of bridging generational gaps in the workplace to improve communication, collaboration, and leadership across age groups. On the final day of the meeting, attendees heard from Juan Carlos Lara, with Crowe Global, in an AI workshop, exploring how AI is transforming knowledge management and to work and create "AI-friendly" content ensuring these agents can interpret and amplify your brand's message.
Another highlight of the week was the NextGen Panel, featuring member panelists, Brody Engen with Widmer Roel; Dani Opperud with Aldrich; and Kelly Cowhig with Vesta. The panel was moderated by Charles Hylan, Hylan Advisory, and gave members the opportunity for a valuable multi-generational dialogue.
