Cv International Building 70,000‑Sq.-Ft. HQ & State‑of‑the‑Art Fabrication Hub in Prineville, OR
BEND, Ore., Sept. 30, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Cv International, Inc. (Cvi), in partnership with Steele Associates Architects and Empire Construction and Development, announced the expansion and consolidation of its U.S. manufacturing footprint with a new 70,000‑square‑foot fabrication facility in Prineville, Oregon. Construction is underway, with move‑in scheduled for June 2026. The Prineville site will serve as Cvi's headquarters, consolidating operations from four existing buildings into a single, unified campus that brings engineering, manufacturing, assembly and support under one roof. The facility includes 6,000 square feet of office space and an additional 30,000 square feet of expansion‑ready space, immediately available to scale production.
Designed to accelerate delivery and deepen in‑house capability, the Prineville facility features:
- CNC multi-axis lathes and mills, punch machine, flat laser, press brake and tube benders
- 10 dedicated welding stations enabling parallel fabrication and faster throughput
- Dedicated sand‑blast and paint finishing facility for corrosion protection and OEM‑level finishes
- On‑site full engineering staff for prototyping, testing and rapid design iteration
- Integrated assembly, quality assurance and test bays to shorten time to field
"Bringing these capabilities together under one roof and establishing Prineville as our headquarters is a strategic leap for Cv International," said Dan Warden, CEO. "This single, integrated facility allows us to deliver higher‑quality, field‑ready products faster, strengthens cross‑functional collaboration between engineering and production, and directly supports our customers in wind energy, aviation and industrial markets. Equally important, it creates meaningful jobs in Central Oregon, from skilled machinists and welders to engineers and technicians."
Cvi will manufacture and service its suite of nitrogen products and aviation ground support equipment (GSE) at the Prineville location, including:
- MNG‑4 Mobile Nitrogen Generator field‑deployable, rugged nitrogen production for on‑site purging and servicing
- Nitrogen Backpacks lightweight, portable nitrogen solutions for rapid field service
- WindSuite integrated wind‑turbine nitrogen servicing solutions support safer, faster turbine servicing
- Aircraft Maintenance Platforms engineered access systems for safe, efficient maintenance operations
- Contaminated Fuel Detectors & Cryogenic Samplers diagnostics and sample systems for aviation and energy sectors
Strategic advantages of the Prineville facility include improved vertical integration, accelerated product development cycles driven by the co‑located engineering team, and enhanced quality control through end‑to‑end manufacturing; from precision machining and welding to final paint and assembly. The 30,000‑square‑foot expansion area provides immediate capacity to scale production in response to customer demand and large program rollouts.
"As the wind and aviation sectors push for faster turnaround and higher reliability, our ability to engineer, fabricate and test in one location gives customers a decisive operational advantage," added Sam Zumbrunnen, President, Cv International. "Consolidating four buildings into one modern facility streamlines workflows, reduces lead times and amplifies our ability to innovate."
The new facility is expected to generate a range of skilled positions including, machinists, welders, engineers, painters, assembly technicians and operations staff, supporting local employment and supplier partnerships. Cvi will engage with regional workforce development partners to support hiring and training initiatives as construction progresses.
