DALLAS, Oct. 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Under a big Texas sky at a grand hotel in Dallas, 500 of the finest real estate agents in the country recently gathered for a networking event so extensive that it had three hosts: Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty of Dallas and Fort Worth; Kuper Sotheby's International Realty of Austin and San Antonio; and Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty of Houston.
500-agent Dallas extravaganza is one reason why the world's best real estate pros should be with these Texas brokeragesThe September spectacular — called the Texas Networking Event — was another of the many unique opportunities for advisors in the incomparable Sotheby's International Realty network. The three-day immersive experience included a full day at the Omni Dallas Hotel in downtown Dallas, packed with insider seminars, candid panel discussions and lively communal meals. Agents from Texas, California, Colorado, New York and 20 other states were joined by Sotheby's International Realty leaders — including Philip White, president and CEO, Tammy Fahmi, senior vice president of global servicing and strategy, and A. Bradley Nelson, chief marketing officer — and industry VIPs that included speaker Thomas Wright, coach Jim Miller and Ninja Selling instructor Peter Parnegg. Presidents of the host brokerages were Russ Anderson (BFSIR), J Kuper (KSIR), Robin Conner (MTSIR) and Paul Kilian (MTSIR).
Seminars hosted by other real estate pros delved into timely topics that included AI, social media, strategic pricing, negotiation skills and much more.
Between breakout sessions, a pop-up shopping arcade was abuzz, featuring invited vendors that included the fashion house Frame, which showcased its Sotheby's auction-house collaboration of luxe sweaters, tees and totes; luxury bed maker Hästens; luxury bootmaker City Boots; and custom hatter Ras Redwine.
The day was capped with a Texas-themed closing party dubbed "The Last Rodeo," complete with spirited live music, enormous round hay bales, hand-sliced brisket, custom-made guacamole, photo booths and cowboys whirling lighted lassos, all on the lawn of the hotel and surrounded by the gleaming skyscrapers of Dallas.
The Saturday and Sunday prior to the Monday TNE made for a busy weekend of events planned and hosted by advisors that included a morning run, a tour of a $17.5 million penthouse at HALL Arts Residences, a Dallas Cowboys watch party, a private look at two $30-plus-million manors in Highland Park, a behind-the-scenes tour of the Dallas Opera, a day at the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, a mixer promoting Colorado skiing and a soiree at a private country club in the affluent North Texas town of Westlake.
Keeping it all organized was a breeze for attendees, thanks to a custom downloadable app that featured the master schedule, various side events, an attendee search and a mobile way for advisors to introduce themselves to each other before, during and after the TNE. More than 3,600 connections were made through the app.
