ODYSSEY ANNOUNCES FIRST EVER LEGAL PSILOCYBIN RETREAT IN COLORADO

DENVER, June 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Odyssey, the leading provider of legal psilocybin retreats in the US, has announced the completion of Colorado's first ever legalized psychedelic retreat. This comes on the heels of the state passing Prop 122 which allows the use of psychedelic mushrooms to be administered in a regulated environment with a licensed facilitator to supervise.

Odyssey provides transformational private psilocybin sessions and group retreats.

This retreat was a pilot with participants involved with the company and services will be open to the general public this summer. The first retreat was conducted from June 22-24 in partnership with The Center Origin, who recently conducted the state's first legal psilocybin session.

The therapeutic potential of psychedelics is enormous for treating mental health conditions like depression, anxiety, PTSD, and addiction. Where traditional medications may fall flat, one or two sessions of psilocybin-assisted therapy may help to pave the way for long-lasting changes in mood, perspective, and behavior." Odyssey has been leading in that space since launching in 2023 with the first legal psilocybin retreat in U.S. history.

Odyssey has already been operating in Oregon, which was the first state in America to legalize the regulated use of psilocybin. Colorado was the second to pass a similar law and it is expected other states will follow suit.

Said Odyssey Founder and CEO Gabe Charalambides: "Today marks another important step in the shifting sentiments of Americans in how they view holistic remedies to be used as treatment for serious problems people are grappling with. After seeing positive impacts in Oregon over the past few years, Odyssey is thrilled to be partnering with The Center Origin to continue delivering life changing services to more individuals."
