Kolosso Toyota is a family-owned and operated dealership established in 1977, when the Kolosso family acquired the Toyota franchise. The dealership moved to its current location in 1980 and has since been expanded several times.

The Kolosso family's automotive roots trace back to 1929, when Bill and Barb Kolosso's grandfather opened a family auto body and repair shop. Their father, Robert "Bob" Kolosso Jr., worked for his father before starting Kolosso Auto Sales in 1949, laying the foundation for Kolosso Toyota. Bill and Barb, the second generation of family ownership, grew up in the business and led the dealership for many years, continuing the family's commitment to customers and the community.

During their tenure, Kolosso Toyota received multiple recognitions for customer service, sales, and excellence from industry organizations. The dealership has also been active in the local community, serving as a vehicle donation center for Rawhide Youth Services, supporting at-risk youth, and contributing to Harbor House, a local domestic abuse shelter.
