If you're interested in broad exposure to the Large Cap Growth segment of the US equity market, look no further than the Invesco NASDAQ 100 ETF (QQQM), a passively managed exchange traded fund launched on October 13, 2020.The fund is sponsored by Invesco. It has amassed assets over $63.84 billion, making it one of the largest ETFs attempting to match the Large Cap Growth segment of the US equity market. Why Large Cap GrowthLarge cap companies usually have a market capitalization above $10 billion. They tend to be stable companies with predictable cash flows and are usually less volatile than mid and small cap companies.Qualities of growth stocks include faster growth rates compared to the broader market, as well as higher valuations and higher than average sales and earnings growth rates. Also, growth stocks are a type of equity that carries more risk compared to others. They are likely to outperform value stocks in strong bull markets but over the longer-term, value stocks have delivered better returns than growth stocks in almost all markets. CostsCost is an important factor in selecting the right ETF, and cheaper funds can significantly outperform their more expensive counterparts if all other fundamentals are the same.Annual operating expenses for this ETF are 0.15%, making it one of the least expensive products in the space. It has a 12-month trailing dividend yield of 0.5%.Sector Exposure and Top HoldingsEven though ETFs offer diversified exposure which minimizes single stock risk, it is still important to look into a fund's holdings before investing. Telecom and Consumer Discretionary round out the top three.Looking at individual holdings, Nvidia Corp (NVDA) accounts for about 9.37% of total assets, followed by Microsoft Corp (MSFT) and Apple Inc (AAPL).The top 10 holdings account for about 52.76% of total assets under management.Performance and RiskQQQM seeks to match the performance of the NASDAQ-100 INDEX before fees and expenses. The NASDAQ-100 Index includes securities of 100 of the largest domestic and international nonfinancial companies listed on Nasdaq. The ETF has gained about 18.21% so far this year and was up about 22.68% in the last one year (as of 10/14/2025). In the past 52-week period, it has traded between $171.40 and $251.71.The ETF has a beta of 1.16 and standard deviation of 20.81% for the trailing three-year period.
