Agreement Expands Stellar Customer Listing Access to 10 States and Territories Spanning California, Mid-Atlantic, and the South

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla., July 8, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Stellar MLS, the largest multiple listing service in Florida and Puerto Rico and one of the most influential in the nation, is collaborating with California Regional MLS (CRMLS) and Bright MLS to expand their customers' listing access through the California and Mid-Atlantic regions. Through Stellar MLS's Reciprocal MLS Access, an agreement between multiple MLS organizations, subscribers can search and view listings in other participating MLS systems without needing to join them separately or pay additional fees. It's more than just access; it's a powerful tool for customers to grow their referral connections and to tap into new markets from East to West.

The collaboration brings together the three largest MLSs in the U.S., dramatically expanding a customer's listing visibility and search capabilities. All three MLSs use Matrix, which will make navigation seamless and intuitive for real estate professionals to view and share real-time data, making it easier to support clients relocating, investing, or expanding into new markets.

"This collaboration marks a defining moment in our shared commitment to delivering unmatched value to our mutual subscribers," said Merri Jo Cowen, CEO of Stellar MLS. "By connecting the three largest MLSs in the nation, we are breaking down regional barriers while empowering agents and brokers with seamless data access, expanded referral opportunities, and a stronger foundation to serve agents and brokers. At Stellar MLS, we believe that access to reliable and accurate information is power, and this initiative accents our vision for a connected, data-driven, and innovative real estate industry."

The new collaboration will benefit Stellar MLS subscribers by giving them access to listings in 10 states and territories through their existing login, helping support clients across a broader market area with ease and efficiency. Through this expansive coverage area, real estate professionals can tap into cross-regional referrals and transactions, expand their business opportunities and provide more services to customers.

Stellar MLS's Reciprocal MLS Access gives consumers a powerful advantage. For buyers relocating from out of state, agents and brokers can now easily research comparable home sales, identify opportunities, and provide insight into neighborhoods in advance, making the home search more efficient and informed from day one. For sellers planning a move, this reach allows real estate professionals to help identify potential purchase or rental opportunities in their next destination, giving them a head start in navigating their transition. Ultimately, this agreement puts more information, more market insight, and more service at consumers' fingertips—no matter where they're headed.

"The new agreement between CRMLS and Stellar MLS represents a major milestone," said Art Carter, CEO of CRMLS. "The move is granting agents and brokers access to accurate, vetted data beyond the borders of traditional coverage areas, fostering a better-connected network of real estate professionals from across the country. This relationship, along with our existing agreement with Bright MLS, is one of multiple partnerships bringing unmatched value to the overall homebuying and selling process."

"Adding Stellar MLS to our existing relationship with CRMLS marks a significant expansion of Bright's efforts to foster greater collaboration across the industry," said Brian Donnellan, President and CEO of Bright MLS. "This extended network—linking the nation's three largest MLSs—reinforces our focus on creating a more open and efficient marketplace for real estate professionals.
