Multifamily Industry Leader Joins Trion to Spearhead Operational Strategy and National Portfolio Growth

LOS ANGELES, July 23, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- In a strategic move to elevate its operational platform and accelerate growth across key markets, Trion Properties has announced the appointment of Johnny De La Espriella as President of Property Management. A nationally recognized leader in the multifamily housing industry, De La Espriella brings over 20 years of experience scaling operations and driving performance across diverse residential portfolios.

In his new role, De La Espriella will lead Trion's property operations across all markets, ensuring alignment between asset performance, resident experience, and Trion's broader investment strategy.

Prior to joining Trion, De La Espriella oversaw national operations for more than 7,000 units at Eagle Property Capital. His leadership was equally transformative at RKW Residential, where he was instrumental in expanding the third-party management portfolio from approximately 6,000 to over 30,000 units within six years - firmly positioning the company as a key player in the industry.

In addition to his operational credentials, De La Espriella is a committed industry advocate. He served as the 2024 President of the Southeast Florida Apartment Association and currently serves on its Board of Directors. He holds Delegate positions with both the Florida Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association, championing progress and innovation across the multifamily housing sector.
