The Lifestyle Apparel Brand to Host Nationwide Retail Events and Donate a Percentage of Sales from BCA Capsule Collection
STAMFORD, Conn., Sept. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- vineyard vines, the lifestyle apparel brand known for its smiling pink whale logo, is proud to announce its continued partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) and the Pink Lemonade Stand Challenge (PLSC) in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
This cause holds special significance for vineyard vines co-founders Shep and Ian Murray, whose mother battled breast cancer. "Our mom's strength and perseverance inspires us every day to not only use our brand as a platform to give back, but to help fund lifesaving research," said Shep Murray, Co-Founder of vineyard vines. "We're proud to honor her, and so many others, by supporting research that brings hope to those navigating this journey."
From September 1 through December 31, 2025, vineyard vines will donate 10% of proceeds from its Breast Cancer Awareness Collection to BCRF, with a guaranteed minimum contribution of $40,000. The collection features a men's and women's Long-Sleeve Pocket Tee and a Printed Tie, each designed to support the cause.
In addition, vineyard vines will participate in the Pink Lemonade Stand Challenge, a national non-profit founded by 7-year-old Brynne Rhodes while her mother was undergoing breast cancer treatment. As part of this year's event, all vineyard vines retail stores will host lemonade stands on Saturday, October 4, from 12 PM to 2 PM, with 10% of sales during that time donated to the cause, bringing the partnership to life and supporting communities nationwide.
"We are grateful to continue our partnership with BCRF and the Pink Lemonade Stand Challenge to help raise awareness and emphasize the importance of cancer research," said Ian Murray, Co-Founder of vineyard vines. "It's incredibly rewarding to bring the vineyard vines community together for something so close to our hearts."
"Breast cancer touches every community, and the need for research has never been more urgent," said Donna McKay, President and CEO of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. "We are grateful to vineyard vines for their steadfast partnership and continued dedication to fueling lifesaving science. Through continued investment in research, we are bringing impact and progress to the millions affected by this disease."
