2026 Medicare Star Ratings: Kaiser Permanente health plans earn high ratings

The organization continues to earn high marks from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for providing high-quality, coordinated care and service.

OAKLAND, Calif., Oct. 20, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Kaiser Permanente's Medicare Advantage health plans are highly rated, according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services 2026 Star Ratings.

For the second year in a row, all Kaiser Permanente Medicare Advantage plans were highly rated, earning either 4 or 4.5 stars out of 5 from CMS. In Hawaii, Kaiser Permanente's plan is the highest rated, and in California and Washington, D.C., its HMO plans are tied for the highest rating.

Each year, CMS rates Medicare health and prescription drug plans using a 1-to-5-star scale.

The ratings help consumers compare the quality of available plans.
