Berentzen-Gruppe Aktiengesellschaft: Interim Report 9M 2025 / Preliminary business figures as of September 30, 2025 / Update of the revenue forecast for the 2025 financial year

Berentzen-Gruppe Aktiengesellschaft, which is listed on the Regulated Market (General Standard) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (ISIN: DE0005201602), expects, based on preliminary operating results for the first three quarters of the 2025 financial year available today, a normalised consolidated operating profit (consolidated EBIT) of EUR 5.6 million (9M 2024: EUR 7.6 million) and a normalised consolidated operating profit before depreciation and amortisation (consolidated EBITDA) of EUR 12.0 million (9M 2024: EUR 14.1 million). Consolidated revenues are expected to amount to EUR 119.4 million (9M 2024: EUR 133.9 million; adjustment of the previous year's figure due to changes in accounting standards).

Both consolidated revenues and consolidated EBIT – and consequently also consolidated EBITDA – are below the figures for the same period last year. This development is primarily attributable to the continuing consumer restraint with regards to spirits in Germany and the associated decline in revenues in the Group's spirits segment. In addition, the loss of revenues from the regional mineral water business at the former Grüneberg site, which the Berentzen Group sold in October 2024, and the contractual restructuring of a former franchise business in the Group's Non-alcoholic Beverages segment continue to have a negative impact on consolidated revenues. While consolidated revenues in the third quarter were also below the level of the same quarter of the previous year, consolidated EBITDA and consolidated EBIT remained largely stable compared with the same quarter of the previous year, mainly as a result of an improved gross profit margin.

In the course of preparing its Interim Report for the first nine months of 2025, Berentzen-Gruppe Aktiengesellschaft is also updating its revenue forecast for the 2025 financial year, which was adjusted on July 21, 2025 and confirmed with the publication of the Group's half-yearly financial report on August 14, 2025. Based on the preliminary business figures for 9M 2025, the Berentzen Group now forecasts consolidated revenues for the 2025 financial year in a range of EUR 165.0 to 169.0 million (previous forecast: EUR 172.0 to 178.0 million). However, the forecast for earnings figures remains unchanged from the most recently announced version. Accordingly, the Berentzen Group expects consolidated operating profit (consolidated EBIT) to range between EUR 8.0 and 9.5 million and consolidated operating profit before depreciation and amortisation (consolidated EBITDA) of between EUR 16.9 and 18.4 million.

The preliminary business figures for the first three quarters of the 2025 financial year of Berentzen-Gruppe Aktiengesellschaft are subject to review by the Supervisory Board’s Finance and Audit Committee. The final business figures as well as further information on the first three quarters of the 2025 financial year will be published as planned on October 23, 2025 with the Interim Report 9M 2025.
