Eric Dane Honored with Advocate of the Year Award by the ALS Network

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 23, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The ALS Network is proud to announce that acclaimed actor, Eric Dane, has been named the recipient of the Advocate of the Year Award, recognizing his extraordinary commitment to raising awareness and support for people living with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).

Eric Dane has been named the ALS Network's Advocate of the Year. “This award is more than an honor - it’s a reflection of the incredible strength and courage I see in the ALS community every day,” Dane said. “Facing ALS myself, I know the challenges are real and relentless. Dane will be honored at the organization's Champions for Cures and Care gala on Saturday, January 24, 2026, in Pasadena, California. ALS community family, leaders, and supporters, will join together to celebrate progress and advance the fight against ALS.

Best known for his work in television and film, Dane has used his public platform to amplify the voices of those affected by ALS and champion efforts to advance research, care, and community support. Through his advocacy, Dane has helped bring international attention to the urgent need for resources and funding, inspiring others to join the fight against this devastating disease.
