ATLANTA, Aug. 26, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- US-based incubator Geekz Ventures is now accepting applications for the 2nd edition of its GROWTH pre-accelerator program.

Cary Wheelous, CEO of Hayti.

The program provided us insights into business operations, sales, and product-market fit that fueled our expansion

GROWTH will accept up to 10 innovative startups for 10 transformative weeks of mentoring, business education, and community support to help founders accelerate startup growth.

Backed by the Techstars Foundation, the pre-accelerator is for underestimated founders building high-potential tech-enabled startups. While the program is industry agnostic, the focus is on MediaTech, Connectivity, Entertainment, and Mobile Technology.

GROWTH provides access to community, curriculum, training, resources, and coaching to help founders refine their ideas, get their first paying customers, and secure follow-on funding. Participants also receive equity-free micro-grants.

Launched in 2023, Geekz Ventures kicked off its first GROWTH cohort with ten promising startups. Following formal training, mentoring and coaching continued for the most promising startups from the original class, offering sustained support during critical growth stages.

Now, Geekz Ventures is ready to open its doors again. The next cohort promises a robust 10-week curriculum focused on customer discovery, product validation, go-to-market strategy, and fundraising preparation. Participants also benefit from hands-on mentorship, peer-to-peer collaboration, and office hours with experienced operators.

"Participating in Geekz Ventures' GROWTH pre-accelerator program was instrumental for Hayti," said  Cary Wheelous, CEO of Hayti. "The pre-accelerator provided us with critical insights into business operations, sales, and product-market fit that directly fueled our rapid expansion and secured significant funding. Kunbi's strategic guidance, especially on media partnerships, proved invaluable in building our brand and reaching over 50,000 users, proving the program's direct impact on our growth and sustainability."

Sophronia McKenzie, CEO of visuEats, echoed similar sentiments: "Participating in Geekz Ventures was a game-changer," said McKenzie. "The program sharpened our go-to-market strategy, connected us with a supportive community, and gave us the structure and tools we needed to position visuEats as the Caribbean's first global marketplace for restaurants. We're truly grateful to be part of such a visionary community."

We are incredibly excited to launch our next cohort," said Kunbi Tinuoye, the founder and Executive Director of Geekz Ventures. "The startups in our inaugural cohort have exceeded my expectations. We are eager to continue supporting ambitious founders who have the potential to scale."

Brandon Wilkins, a seasoned strategist and startup ecosystem builder, will continue in his role as Program Manager for the upcoming cohort.

"When Kunbi invited me to join Geekz Ventures' latest pre-accelerator as Program Manager, I immediately recognized the opportunity to contribute to something truly meaningful," said Wilkins. "Geekz Ventures is building an ecosystem where underestimated founders are not only seen, but equipped, supported, and elevated."

"Being part of this next cohort means working alongside some of the most inspiring new companies and dynamic mentors in the startup space. I'm especially looking forward to helping shape experiences that not only accelerate business growth but also create long-term impact. This next chapter for Geekz Ventures represents more than just innovation. It's about intentional investment in the future of entrepreneurship."

Applications are now open on the Geekz Ventures site. Applicants will be assessed on their product, potential impact, and capacity to build a scalable business.

Early-stage founders with scalable, tech-enabled business ideas are encouraged to applynow. Spots are limited and demand is expected to be high.
