Lee Jung-hoo of the San Francisco Giants recorded his second career four-hit game in a road win. Lee batted 4-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored, helping the Giants beat the St. Louis Cardinals 8-2 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis on Friday (local time). Lee, who is now batting .267 with a .744 on-base plus slugging, had his first four-hit effort on Aug. 3 against the New York Mets. The South Korean center fielder has hit safely in all three games in September, with seven hits in 11 at-bats. Batting sixth, Lee flied out to center in the top of the first inning, and then picked up four hits in his next four trips to the plate. He led off the fourth inning with a single to spark a four-run rally. After a single in the fifth, Lee hit his 11th triple of the season in the seventh. He is now alone in second place in the National League in that category, behind only Corbin Carroll of the Arizona Diamondbacks with 16 triples. Lee completed his four-hit night with an infield single to shortstop Masyn Winn.
