Innocean sweeps awards at international advertising festival
Innocean has swept major awards at Asia’s largest marketing and advertising festival — the MAD STARS 2025 — for creatively displaying a series of its branded content, the company said Monday. The advertising arm of Hyundai Motor Group won a total of 14 awards in five categories during the latest event held in Korea's southern port city of Busan. Innocean won the highest glory with its short film, “Night Fishing,” co-produced by Hyundai Motor. The 13-minute movie received the Grand Prix award for its unique and creative storytelling. Its scenes are captured from the perspective of vehicle cameras. The company also won multiple other awards in entertainment, film and media categories. Innocean stressed the importance of using artificial intelligence (AI) to create more attractive digital outdoor media advertising during a special lecture of the event. The company cited its digital signage campaign set up in front of Busan’s landmark Haeundae Beach as an example of the combination of AI and digital advertising.
