InventHelp Client's Kitchen Invention Earns $150k in Sales, Selling Out on Amazon in Just Three Days

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- A simple yet brilliant kitchen invention has taken social media by storm. MixAid, a reusable stand mixer insert created by InventHelp inventors Luisa Marchese and Dawn Archie-Johansen of Tyler, Texas, became an overnight sensation after being featured in a product review video by the popular brand So Yummy. The video garnered nearly 10 million views within 48 hours, boosting MixAid to #1 best seller status on Amazon and generating nearly $150,000 in sales in just three days.

InventHelp's Role in the Journey

Through InventHelp's Submission Services, MixAid was licensed by MBDB Products LLC. Kurtis Charlton of InventHelp's Intromark initiated and facilitated the licensing agreement.

The product was also featured in the 2025 IHS New Product Showcase at the Inspired Home Show in Chicago, where attendees could explore the innovation and request more information. As a direct result, the exposure garnered the attention of shopping network, QVC and Hagen Grote, the German retailer known for selling high-quality home-furnishings. The product will air on QVC this fall and appear in the 2025 Hagen Grote Autumn Catalog. 

From Frustration to Innovation

Designed to solve a common baking challenge, MixAid eliminates the need to wash stand mixer bowls between recipes. "We envisioned an insert that fits into the metal stand mixer bowl to save time when making multiple recipes," said co-inventor Luisa Marchese. The patent-granted product, sold in sets of three, allows users to mix, pour, and store baking mixtures while keeping the original bowl clean.
