Larx Demonstrates Breakthrough Visual Intelligence and 3D Reconstruction Capabilities at Northern Strike 2025
Field deployment highlights Larx's mission-proven technology, commercial satellite support, and groundbreaking 3D reconstruction workflow for operational advantage
CAMP GRAYLING, Mich., Sept. 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Larx, Inc., the visual intelligence platform, successfully demonstrated its capabilities at Northern Strike 2025, one of the U.S. military's premier joint readiness exercises. Larx supported special forces teams, and the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force (CJSOTF), with its advanced data fusion platform, showcasing real-time geospatial intelligence, rapid 3D modeling, and provided satellite support by working across key partners like Umbra to get radar images tasked.
During the exercise, Larx embedded directly in 20th Special Forces Group's (SFG) Joint Operations Center (JOC), providing live imagery, data overlays, and 3D models to commanders. The platform integrated seamlessly across multiple data partners and inputs—enabling operators across domains to work from a common, trusted operational picture.
One of the highlights of the deployment was Larx's innovative 3D reconstruction workflow. Using unmanned aircraft system (UAS) data in partnership with the 20th SFGSpecial Operations Robotics Detachment (SORD), Larx generated 3D models of targets that were then physically 3D printed. This marked a first-of-its-kind capability demonstrated in an operational training environment.
"Northern Strike is about ensuring our forces can train as they fight—jointly, rapidly, and with clarity," said Tad Mielnicki, CEO of Larx. "Larx's ability to cut through the noise, deliver actionable intelligence, and even transform drone imagery into tangible 3D products proves the value of our platform in real-world missions."
Operators and commanders responded positively to the demonstrations, noting Larx's user-friendly design, rapid processing, and adaptability. Distinguished visitors and senior leaders were also briefed on Larx's capabilities, with interest extending beyond defense applications into disaster relief and emergency management.
Larx's participation at Northern Strike reaffirmed its role as a mission-proven technology partner for the Department of Defense and allied organizations. The exercise also provided critical user feedback that will inform development of Larx's integration with DOD TAK and Palantir environments.
