Lifelong Wellbeing Foundation Launches to Help College Students Live Life to the Fullest
Through Online Tools and Community, the Foundation Supports Students' Ability to Master Their Own Health and Become Ambassadors of Wellbeing
DURHAM, N.C., May 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Lifelong Wellbeing Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing college students with the knowledge and tools to support wellbeing habits that last a lifetime, has launched. The Foundation was created to recognize and fulfill the need for trusted and empowering education and community around wellbeing at a crucial point in the lives of college students, when social isolation, stress, and burnout are rampant. The Foundation is committed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 of creating good health and wellbeing at all ages.
"The health and wellbeing of young people is essential right now," said Zaldastani.Founder and CEO Nicholas Zaldastani, a seasoned entrepreneur, investor and advocate for human optimization, has teamed up with Co-Founder and Chief of Programs Rebecca Sanchez, a successful effectiveness and accountability educator, to create the Lifelong Wellbeing Foundation. Zaldastani, named Ambassador of Biohacking at the inaugural Business of Biohacking Summit in 2024, is known for scaling numerous technology and wellness ventures, including Oracle, SABA, Igniton, CESS.Network, and STEMREGEN®. Sanchez is also the Founder of Nimble Up, a training company dedicated to enhancing organizational effectiveness and resilience.
The Lifelong Wellbeing Foundation will equip students with the resources they need to prioritize their health, happiness, and success starting now and continuing throughout their lives. The Foundation will also shine a light on the institutions that provide holistic support to their students by creating a ranking system based on how they treat student wellbeing on their campus.
"The health and wellbeing of young people is essential right now," said Zaldastani. "Our Mission is to help college students develop healthy awareness and habits that will lead to happiness throughout their entire lives. This is something I wish I had as a resource when I was in college; finding out about these powerful tools later in life has transformed my personal wellbeing - just wish I had learned about this in college. We see achievement of this goal then radiating throughout the students' communities on campus, in their families, and in their futures."
Phase One of the Foundation's program development will include building the online platform that connects college clubs focused on wellbeing, developing the technology that enables students to access valuable online resources, and providing ways for students to engage including access to conferences, internships, and more.
The Foundation's first fundraising event will take place the evening before the Biohacking Conference on May 27, 2025, in Austin, Texas at a biohacking-approved, formal dinner. Speakers and special guests include Del Bigtree (Former CEO of MAHA Action and Former Producer of CBS "The Doctors"), Dave Asprey (Founder, 40 Years of Zen, Danger Coffee), Jim Kwik (Founder & CEO, Kwik Learning), Vani Hari (Founder & CEO, Food Babe), Candace McDonald (CEO, MAHA Films), and Calley Means (Co-Founder, TrueMed). The Foundation's sponsors include STEMREGEN®, de-liver-ance®, 40 Years of Zen, and ZenBud. Tickets are available to the public for purchase here.
"Wellbeing is an ongoing, lifelong process," said Co-Founder Sanchez. "If individuals treat it almost as a science project — planning, taking action, evaluating outcomes, and making adjustments — they can create healthy, happy lives for a lifetime. This Foundation will provide tools to help college students along this path, with community being at the forefront."
