The French cognac brand ventures into the world of tableware with two collections celebrating its heritage

COGNAC, France, Sept. 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- LOUIS XIII today introduces Art de la Table, its first-ever line of porcelain tableware. The two collections, named "Soil is Our Soul" and "Light of Time," are inspired by the House's renowned artisanship and crafted in the same spirit. Each item in the six piece set is influenced by the terroir and rare savoir-faire of Grande Champagne, the first Cru of Cognac, and the rare savoir-faire embodied in LOUIS XIII heritage.

LOUIS XIII COGNAC “ART DE LA TABLE”

The Art de la Table collections aim to transform the act of dining into an experience as exquisite as the LOUIS XIII Cognac itself. With a total of 750 sets available and each piece individually numbered, LOUIS XIII Art de la Table was sculpted meticulously by the collective artistry of 40 porcelain artisans of the House of J.L. Coquet in Limoges, France. Each six-piece ensemble includes a large plate, soup plate, dessert plate, bowl, tea set and coffee set.

"These Art de la Table collections mark a new chapter in LOUIS XIII art de vivre," shares Anne-Laure Pressat, LOUIS XIII Executive Director. "They are an invitation to discover or rediscover LOUIS XIII through a brand-new elevated experience."

LOUIS XIII Soil is Our Soul
The porcelain of the Soul is Our Soil collection features a subtle roughness, designed to evoke the chalky soil of the terroir of Grande Champagne that imbues eaux-de-vie with an aromatic tapestry and the promise of this terroir for LOUIS XIII and why we wanted to pay tribute to the origins. The collection is a testament to the terroir where LOUIS XIII precious eaux-de-vie is created. The texture, a tangible connection to the earth, elevates every course and stands as a reminder that the exceptional is rooted in the soul of the soil.

LOUIS XIII Light of Time
The Light of Time collection captures the mystery of LOUIS XIII eaux-de-vie slumber before they are revealed into the light. The porcelain features delicately carved facets that allow light to filter through, shining light onto what is first invisible to the eye. Each piece's design creatively plays into light and shadow as a tribute to the artistry that defines LOUIS XIII.

The two collections come to life as a result of a dozen new techniques from J.L. Coquet, delicate sculpting and precise hand-painting by forty artisans working in a harmonious choreography of individual skill and collective expertise. Every detail reflects a commitment to artistry and excellence, just as with each LOUIS XIII decanter.

Exclusive dinner unveilings will take place in key cities around the world: France, the United Kingdom and the United States, offering esteemed guests the opportunity to experience these collections firsthand.
