Prime Minister Kim Min-seok said preparations for the APEC Summit in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, are “proceeding smoothly,” with logistical arrangements for the late-October event nearly finalized. Speaking at his first press briefing since taking office 47 days ago — and 77 days into the Lee Jae Myung administration — Kim said accommodations for visiting delegations are in place and that the government expects leaders of member economies to attend, in line with diplomatic conventions.
