S. Korean envoy pledges close cooperation with US to pave way for NK dialogue

WASHINGTON — South Korea's top envoy to the United States pledged Tuesday to work closely with the U.S. to foster conditions needed for the resumption of diplomacy with North Korea, amid uncertainty over whether Pyongyang would accede to dialogue overtures.
