Sure Med Compliance Taps Pain & Addiction Expert Steven D. Passik, PhD, to Advance Pain and Addiction Services Nationwide

FAIRHOPE, Ala., Sept. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Sure Med Compliance, a leader in risk mitigation and compliance services for pain management providers, today announced the appointment of Steven D. Passik, PhD, as Chief Clinical Officer. Dr. Passik joins Sure Med to help expand the company's pain management footprint and lead its expansion into Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment services.

Dr. Passik brings extensive experience and recognition in clinical psychology, addiction research, pain management, and public policy. Most recently, he held senior roles at Millennium Health, including Vice President of Scientific Affairs & Head of Clinical Data Programs. Prior to that, he had a distinguished academic and clinical career spanning over 25 years with institutions such as Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Vanderbilt University, and the University of Kentucky, where he worked on both cancer and non-cancer pain, psychiatric comorbidities, and the interface of pain management and addiction.
