Pioneer of AI Digital Employees, Twine Security will showcase its technology at the prestigious cybersecurity startup event with the winner announced on 7 August

TEL AVIV, Israel, July 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Twine Security, the leader in building AI Digital Employees for the cybersecurity industry, has been named as one of four finalists in the Black Hat USA Startup Spotlight Competition. The company, founded by CEO Benny Porat, will be featured alongside FireTail, an AI security company, Keep Aware, which provides deep visibility and detection and response across all web browsers, and Prime Security, which helps enterprises safely scale product security.

In recent years, the cybersecurity sector has evolved to counter the surge in threats and attacks, driven by the adoption of cloud technologies and the proliferation of AI-engineered attacks, but it is still woefully underprepared. A 2025 survey by PwC revealed that only 2% of companies have implemented cyber resilience across their organization, even though 77% expect their cybersecurity budgets to increase in the coming year. Meanwhile, 87% of business executives globally claim their companies are not adequately protected against cyber attacks.

Twine Security, as recognized by this contest, has risen to meet today's cybersecurity challenges head-on, providing cutting-edge solutions pioneered by AI, giving enterprises a fighting chance against the most sophisticated cyber threats.

Benny Porat, Co-Founder and CEO, Twine, said: "We're thrilled to showcase how Twine's AI Digital Employees are transforming cybersecurity at Black Hat USA's prestigious Startup Competition. Starting with IAM, our AI Digital Employees don't just create simple automations, they act against threats and security gaps autonomously, giving security teams the ability to respond at machine speed while maintaining human oversight. This competition represents exactly the kind of innovation battleground where breakthrough technologies prove their worth. We're confident that our Agentic AI approach will demonstrate how the future of cybersecurity lies in intelligent automation that amplifies human expertise."

The four finalists, including Twine, were announced on 17 July, ahead of the event on 2-7 August. Twine was also recently named as one of the Top 10 Finalists for the 20th annual RSAC™ 2025 Conference Innovation Sandbox contest.

During the Black Hat USA 2025 event at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, each finalist will be invited to attend the Innovators & Investors Summit on Tuesday, 5 August, and speak on a panel discussion moderated by Caleb Sima, Emcee of the Startup Spotlight Competition. The panel will give each of the four finalists a chance to showcase their origin story, hurdles and challenges ahead. They will also exhibit their products and solutions on August 6 and August 7, and pitch to judges on 7 August, before a winner is announced.
