SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Constructor, the leading AI-powered search and product discovery platform for enterprise ecommerce companies, today announced that Forrester Research has ranked Constructor a Leader in its new report: "The Forrester Wave: Commerce Search And Product Discovery Solutions, Q3 2025." Evaluating "the nine vendors that matter most," the report notes that Constructor's "differentiated vision has vaulted it ahead in this competitive market."

How Forrester evaluated the market — and Constructor

Forrester defines commerce search and product discovery solutions as: "Software solutions that ingest product, customer and logistical data and apply human-controlled rules and artificial intelligence to display product (and/or content) listings. These solutions personalize those listings based on users' historical activities, their behaviors in the current session, and the goals or configurations set by the merchant." 1

For this Wave, Forrester evaluated vendors against 31 criteria related to current offering and strategy, and also considered customer feedback. The report "shows how each provider measures up" and categorizes vendors as Leaders, Strong Performers or Contenders.

"We're honored to be named a Leader in this Wave. To us, it reflects the vision we've had for this space from the beginning — that search and product discovery are really part of a broad AI problem set, focused on figuring out how to match the right product with the right person at the right time and in the right context," said Constructor CEO Eli Finkelshteyn. "We invested in AI early and did it before the hype. I'm especially proud of how those investments have led to industry-leading innovation in LLMs and agentic AI, always for the purpose of helping retailers, brands, manufacturers and distributors deliver more intuitive, helpful experiences to their shoppers that drive measurable results. We're proud that this recognition reflects what our customers experience every day — stronger engagement, better discovery and meaningful growth."

Strengths in strategy and current offering

Constructor received the highest possible scores (5 out of 5) in the criteria of vision, innovation, roadmap, adoption, and pricing flexibility and transparency within the strategy category. It also scored 5 out of 5 in these current offering criteria: usability and tooling, basic search configuration, product recommendations beyond search, agentic or conversational product discovery, type-ahead and suggestions, personalization limitations, dynamic categorization and landing pages, and product data enhancement.

The report also notes:

  • "Constructor is superior in its adoption, winning and retaining customers successfully."
  • "Reference customers consistently communicated high satisfaction with Constructor. They are likely to stay with the vendor and appreciate the solution's usability as well as the relationship with the vendor."
  • "Constructor continues to deliver highly usable tooling to support its strength in functional areas such as agentic, or conversational, product discovery, and dynamic categorization and landing pages. It provides strong product data enhancement features as well as product recommendations beyond search."
  • "The vendor provides clear and detailed roadmaps for future functionality and delivers as promised on innovation."

The momentum continues

Ecommerce companies worldwide rely on Constructor to create personalized, engaging and revenue-generating experiences — across search results, browse functionality, product recommendations, landing pages, product finder quizzes, AI Shopping Agent results and more, including sponsored listings on retail websites and apps, through Constructor's Retail Media Suite unveiled earlier this year.

Constructor's placement in the Forrester Wave comes on the heels of other recognitions and major milestones for the company — including:
