In the news release, World Premiere of "Found Suitable", issued 09-Sep-2025 by Unlikely Collaborators over PR Newswire, we are advised by the company that in the third paragraph, first sentence, the name should read "April Adkins" rather than "April Atkins" as originally issued inadvertently. LOS ANGELES, Sept. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- What does it mean to be suitable? For poet and activist Bleu Inkk, it's more than a phrase -- it's a reclamation of self. After nearly three decades behind bars, she now takes the stage to share her powerful story of trauma, resilience, and transformation in the world premiere of Found Suitable, directed and produced by Anne Kenny.

After nearly three decades behind bars, poet and activist Bleu Inkk is taking the stage to share her powerful story of trauma, resilience, and transformation in the world premiere of Found Suitable. "Outside sources told me and showed me that I was unworthy," says Bleu. "I believed them until I realized that only I have the power to be found suitable in me and for me."

Raised in Compton, CA, Bleu (formerly April Adkins) turned to writing to survive. Behind prison walls, she became Bleu Inkk, creating poetry, plays, and rap to give voice to her journey and those of others. She founded the "Poetry Café" to help incarcerated individuals express themselves and discover their worth. Since her release in 2017, she's become a transformational coach, motivational speaker, and correctional consultant returning to prisons leading workshops and working with organizations like Homeboy Industries to inspire real, lasting change. She is a graduate of Loyola Law School as an independent Forensic Gang Expert.

Director Anne Kenny calls Bleu, "an astonishing storyteller who digs deep into a raw and emotional journey from carefree childhood afternoons playing outside church to criminal associations to a profound transformation that continues to influence others."

Sponsored by Unlikely Collaborators. Found Suitable is a 50-minute, with no intermission, performance, recommended for ages 18+ due to mature themes and descriptions of violence.

Koch, dedicated to fostering transformative storytelling, developing human connection, and resolving internal conflict. Unlikely Collaborators' perspective, external conflict is the direct result of unconscious, unresolved internal conflict inside each and every one of us.
