Carillon Technologies Appoints Jim Cathey to Board of Directors
NEW HAVEN, Conn., Oct. 7, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Carillon Technologies, a developer of advanced technologies for both commercial and government applications, today announced the appointment of Jim Cathey to its Board of Directors. Mr. Cathey brings decades of global leadership experience in the technology and communications sectors, with a proven record of driving growth, strategic partnerships, and innovation in satellite and advanced communications markets.
Cathey's perspectives will be instrumental to the launch of the ReflecTek satellite communications product line.Mr. Cathey most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., where he oversaw global sales, business development, partnerships, and distribution channels. During his 17-year tenure, he held multiple senior leadership positions across Asia, India, Japan, and the U.S., and helped the company expand market access and deliver advanced technologies to governments, carriers, and enterprises. Prior to Qualcomm, Mr. Cathey held leadership positions at Micron Technology, MicroDisplay, and PixTech.
