Long-term debt was $5.08 billion compared with $5.47 billion at the end of the first quarter. The company had a times interest earned ratio of 5.3%, consistent with the previous quarter. Labcorp also returns capital to shareholders through its share repurchase program and dividends. During the quarter, it paid $59.9 million in dividends and repurchased $200.0 million of stock.
