LAS VEGAS — Samsung Display unveiled concept products for next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) devices featuring OLED technology at a media event Monday (local time) ahead of CES 2026. The exhibition highlighted the synergy between AI and OLED, offering a glimpse into near-future lifestyles. Under the theme “A New Era of Experience, Powered by AI & Display,” the company is hosting a private exhibition for global customers during the world’s largest technology trade show, which runs Tuesday through Friday, local time. The AI OLED Pendant envisions a future AI device that could one day replace smartphones. Built around a 1.4-inch round OLED display, the necklace-style concept emphasizes portability and voice control, allowing users to intuitively operate the device and check information at a glance, expanding the role of AI agents. “Compared with LCD, OLED is thinner and lighter, making it an optimal display solution for securing battery space in compact AI devices,” a Samsung Display official said.
