Siltronic receives “A-Leadership” rating for the first time in two CDP ratings for climate protection and water security

Munich, Germany, January 15, 2026 – For the first time, Siltronic AG (SDAX/TecDAX: WAF) received the highest rating of "A-Leadership" from CDP in the climate protection and water security categories for 2025. CDP is the leading independent platform for the disclosure of environmental data. This places Siltronic among the top one percent of companies worldwide with at least two "A" ratings.

"The CDP “A-Leadership” recognition for climate protection and water security is a significant milestone for Siltronic and a testament to the success of our sustainability strategy. It shows that our commitment to responsible action and transparent progress is firmly rooted in our company – and it sends a strong message to our investors, customers, and partners," said Claudia Schmitt, CFO of Siltronic AG.

Siltronic has committed to reducing its direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions
(Scopes 1 and 2) to net zero by 2045 at the latest. As an intermediate goal, we plan to reduce these emissions by 42 percent by 2030, compared to the 2021 baseline. These targets will effectively contribute to the implementation of the Paris Climate Agreement.

"Other factors contributing to Siltronic's excellent CDP ranking include its high level of transparency in climate-related risk management and its commitment throughout the value chain – particularly in its collaboration with customers and suppliers," said Michael Wirnsberger, Head of Sustainability at Siltronic AG.

Since the financial year 2017, Siltronic has participated in the annual CDP ratings and has improved its score continuously. Investors and several major customers have invited the company to participate. Thus, its participation reflects both the capital market's expectations and the growing demands of key business partners for transparency and climate reporting.

CDP is a global nonprofit organization that runs the world's only independent system for disclosing environmental information from companies, capital markets, and regions. In 2025, over 22,000 companies disclosed their environmental data through CDP.
