Werte in diesem Artikel
Launched on March 3, 2005, the Invesco Large Cap Growth ETF (PWB) is a passively managed exchange traded fund designed to provide a broad exposure to the Large Cap Growth segment of the US equity market. The fund is sponsored by Invesco. It has amassed assets over $1.38 billion, making it one of the average sized ETFs attempting to match the Large Cap Growth segment of the US equity market. Why Large Cap GrowthLarge cap companies usually have a market capitalization above $10 billion. Overall, they are usually a stable option, with less risk and more sure-fire cash flows than mid and small cap companies.Growth stocks have higher than average sales and earnings growth rates. While these are expected to grow faster than the broader market, they also have higher valuations. Further, growth stocks have a higher level of volatility associated with them. Compared to value stocks, growth stocks are a safer bet in a strong bull market, but don't perform as strongly in almost all other financial environments. CostsWhen considering an ETF's total return, expense ratios are an important factor, and cheaper funds can significantly outperform their more expensive counterparts in the long term if all other factors remain equal.Annual operating expenses for this ETF are 0.53%, putting it on par with most peer products in the space. It has a 12-month trailing dividend yield of 0.06%.Sector Exposure and Top HoldingsETFs offer a diversified exposure and thus minimize single stock risk but it is still important to delve into a fund's holdings before investing. Most ETFs are very transparent products and many disclose their holdings on a daily basis. This ETF has heaviest allocation to the Information Technology sector -- about 40.2% of the portfolio. Industrials and Financials round out the top three.Looking at individual holdings, Alphabet Inc (GOOGL) accounts for about 3.77% of total assets, followed by Broadcom Inc (AVGO) and Walmart Inc (WMT).The top 10 holdings account for about 34.22% of total assets under management.Performance and RiskPWB seeks to match the performance of the Dynamic Large Cap Growth Intellidex Index before fees and expenses. The Dynamic Large Cap Growth Intellidex Index is designed to provide capital appreciation while maintaining consistent stylistically accurate exposure. The ETF has added roughly 24.18% so far this year and is up roughly 25.34% in the last one year (as of 10/20/2025). In the past 52-week period, it has traded between $86.24 and $128.50.The ETF has a beta of 1.12 and standard deviation of 18.23% for the trailing three-year period, making it a medium risk choice in the space. With about 51 holdings, it effectively diversifies company-specific risk.AlternativesInvesco Large Cap Growth ETF holds a Zacks ETF Rank of 1 (Strong Buy), which is based on expected asset class return, expense ratio, and momentum, among other factors. Because of this, PWB is an outstanding option for investors seeking exposure to the Style Box - Large Cap Growth segment of the market. VUG has an expense ratio of 0.04% and QQQ charges 0.2%.Bottom-LinePassively managed ETFs are becoming increasingly popular with institutional as well as retail investors due to their low cost, transparency, flexibility and tax efficiency.
