Österreichische Post AG and the Polish parcel service provider InPost S.A., known for its extensive network of parcel stations, are cooperating in the field of international parcel shipping. As a first step, Austrian Post will now deliver parcels sent via the InPost network in Poland in Austria and Hungary. This means that both companies enable cross-border shipping directly between self-service locations.Peter Umundum, Deputy Director General, Member of the Management Board for Parcel & Logistics, Österreichische Post AG: “With InPost, we as the Austrian Post Group have gained a strong partner who will hand over a growing number of parcels to us for Austria and Hungary, with the option of a further roll-out to our parcel network spanning 13 countries. This cooperation proves that we as a group are not only extremely high-performing and reliable, but also attractive to other international players in the parcel market.”Rafał Brzoska, CEO, InPost S.A.: “The partnership with Austrian Post is another important step in the implementation of our international expansion strategy. We are convinced that this cooperation will open up completely new opportunities for Polish entrepreneurs in the e-commerce sector and allow them to effectively reach customers in Austria and Hungary. Thanks to the synergy between our logistics expertise and the extensive network of Austrian Post, we deliver fast, convenient and transparent shipping solutions that are crucial for success in e-commerce. Our goal is to be a partner for companies that want to grow beyond Poland with the InPost Group and expand their activities.”Weiter zum vollständigen Artikel bei Post&Parcel
