Jury selection in a landmark trial examining whether social media platforms are addictive for children was delayed Monday after Meta’s lead attorney fell ill, pushing back proceedings in a case that could include testimony from company founder Mark Zuckerberg.Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Carolyn Kuhl dismissed prospective jurors for the remainder of the day and ordered them to return at 9 a.m. local time on Thursday."We are hoping to move this trial forward and finish the case by the date we set," Kuhl said.
