Thursday's market session has been a study in contrasts.All three major indexes opened lower and spent the morning in the red. Near noon ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJINDICES: ^DJI) was down 0.2% and the S&P 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC) had slipped 0.3%.
